A reflection on this school year

From "Faith and Fresh Perspectives: Reflecting on where we started and where we’re headed"

Go to the project

Since last Labour Day, my faith has deepened through the meaningful experience of helping my colleague Sal Pisani lead a weekly Rosary Club at St. John Vianney Catholic School, which has strengthened my connection to community prayer and reflection. Additionally, my family and I continue to actively serve our parish by volunteering as Ushers and on the Altar Server team at St. John Vianney Church, nurturing a shared spiritual commitment that brings us closer together. As summer approaches, I’m looking forward with great anticipation to a refreshing vacation to Manitoba, a chance to rest, reconnect with nature, and return renewed in both spirit and purpose.

It sounds like you have had some truly amazing and uplifting experiences during the school year and some really fantastic things to look forward to this summer. I hope you have a great vacation and achieve your goals of rest, renewal and connection to nature!
Thank you, Kyle, for the ways you support and model faith in your school community---through the Rosary Club and through your family's active involvement with the life of your parish! Your generosity and personal witness speak powerfully to the way faith can nourish us and help us to grow as people. Hoping you and your family enjoy your time in Manitoba this summer, and help to "recharge the batteries" after a very full school year!
