Snowshoeing and Animal Tracking

From "Join a February Conversation with Murray"

Go to the project

Creation is the fruit of God's Love. All created things come from God. Spending time to get to know some of the creatures that I share space with brings me closer to the Creator.

I like to spend time outdoors in nature. Sometimes observing with the intent to name and understand. At times, observing without placing my ideas upon that which is part of God's perfect creation, provides a sense of peace. Like breathing, taking it in without thinking about it.

What a beautiful, rich reflection, Jonathan! I can only imagine how much you enjoy this time of year, out in the snowy woods with God's creatures, large and small, and just savouring the special beauty of the winter ... its quiet peacefulness, and knowing that we share this earth with the deer and the chickadees, the cardinals and the raccoons. Thank you for sharing your own way of celebrating this season, and its spiritual meaning for you!
