Faith and Fresh Perspectives: A Festive and Faith-Filled Season!

Introduction
For many people—and many faiths—the month of December is a special time of celebration, reflection, and meaning. For Christians, the four weeks of Advent lead to the joyful festivities of Christmas, marking the birth of Jesus. In the Jewish faith, Hanukkah, the “Festival of Lights,” falls this year from the evening of December 14 to the evening of December 22. The Winter Solstice (December 21) marks an important turning point in many Indigenous communities, and for the Wiccan faith. December means lots of things … What do YOU look forward to this month?
